hire a full time designer or photographer!


Why Choose Our Retainer Program?
Plan your project deadlines with peace of mind - Guaranteed amount of prioritized work each month.
Discounts - You get discounted rate compared to normal freelance fees. The more hours you commit, the lower the hourly rate.
Simplified Accounting - you pay a set amount each month for the duration of the retainer contract.
Less Paperwork -  eliminate contracts to sign and multiple invoices to track on a per project basis.
No Overhead - you get the access to a professional designer / photographer without the overhead associated of an employee.

A retainer fee is like a monthly fee. It's perfect for those who know that they will need design services throughout the year and want to reserve a creative professional's time. Since its purpose is to retain the designer/photographer, it is paid up front each month before work is ordered. Essentially, you are "pre-ordering" time versus a service. Since I will anticipate  a preset number of hours of work from you, I will block out my schedule with the appropriate time each month. This gives me the ability to plan my workload accordingly. Which gives you the certainty of a pre-established amount of work each month without having to worry about what else is "in the queue" ahead of you. It's more efficient for all involved.

RETAINER PROGRAM DETAILS:
3 month minimum commitment. At the end of 3 months, we will re-evalaute the program you are to ensure the number of hours are fitting your business needs. After that, we can move to 6, 9, or 12 month commitments.
Each retainer includes a set number of hours or a set amount of work agreed upon by both parties. Overage in time or additional projects outside of the agreed upon scope will be billed at our standard hourly rate.
If retainer is based on time, unused hours will expire. They do not roll over each month as that would defeat the purpose of allocating retainer time each month for projects. If I am running close on hours hitting their threshold, I will let you know before going over.


What type of services can be used in the Graphic Designer and Photographer Retainer programs?
Graphic Design - logos for new products/services, icons, etc.
Marketing Materials - digital files for direct mailers, brochures, newsletters, flyers, business cards, etc.
Digital Materials - Social Media graphics, Blog Banners, and other web designs.
Photography - get your content for the month shot, edited, and uploaded to your platforms for you. Let me worry about your presentation… and you can get back to running your business.
Web Updates & Maintenance - content management, graphics and web maintenance can be provided for select customers. Can work with the website provider you currently use, or get yours created (often created through Wix).
Services do not include additional costs like stock photography purchases & printing
Additional services are available upon request.


HOW DO I GET STARTED?
1. Fill out the form below. I'll set up a 30-minute consultation so I can hear more about your project and get to know each other. I want to learn all about your business and goals. We’ll review your business needs and upcoming projects.
2. First payment. Once the paperwork is completed and the first monthly retainer fee is paid, we will officially start your first month of design work. Prior to the 2nd month, we will call to review the next month's priorities and check in on how things are going. Payment for the month ahead will be due on the 1st of each month.
3. Repeat. We will repeat the process each month for the remainder of the program you selected.
4. Reevaluate. At the end of your contract, we will review the program to see if you want to adjust the number of hours reserved or amount of work completed each month before signing again!

HOW TO PAY?
The full retainer amount is due at the time of the contract signing. As services are used, time is deducted from the pre-paid retainer. All work performed is itemized after each task is completed to show usage and you will get a full report.


OVERAGES AND ROLLOVERS
I do my best to make sure you remain up-to-date on the status of your retainer hours, but ultimately it’s your responsibility to make sure they’re used within the monthly time frame. Unfortunately, unused hours at the end of the monthly contract are forfeited.
However, if you have a 5 hour retainer, but you need 10 hours worth of work in a given month, you'll only be billed the additional 5 hours at the same rate as the retainer; not the normal bill rate.

PHOTOGRAPHY PRICING

Events: $150
Includes photographing event for 2 hours (each additional 30 minutes is $35)


Senior Sessions: $115
Includes photographing session for 1.5 hours
Includes 25-35 edited images on a CD or online database (Dropbox or Google Drive)


Family/Couple/Engagement Sessions: $100
Includes photographing session for 1.5 hours
Includes 25-35 edited images on a CD or online database (Dropbox or Google Drive)


Newborn Sessions: $135
Includes photographing session for 1.5 hours
Includes 25-35 edited images on a CD or online database (Dropbox or Google Drive)


Mini Session: $85
Includes photographing session for 20-30 minutes
Includes 15-20 edited images on a CD or online database (Dropbox or Google Drive)


Weddings: $950
Includes photographing for roughly 10 hours
Includes the full rights to the edited images on a flash drive
Images will be delivered to recipient within one month of wedding date
If you would like a second shooter the total cost is $1400 which includes 10 hours of shooting from myself and 5 hours of shooting with the second shooter
